From the THINK to a Tesla – A road trip with electric mobility

We have been on the road with electric wheels for many years now.
We got our first pure electric car in 2011. It was a red two-seater Norwegian-Finnish »THINK« that looked like a cute plastic toy car. We then progressed to a slightly faster and strangely sounding i-Miev from Mitsubishi. One year later we had a Renault ZOE. Somewhere in-between we had a cool looking but technically immature hybrid Ampera for longer journeys.

The BMW i3 was the first electric city range car with a specific and smart design. The interior is mostly »cradle-to-cradle« material (from the concept by Michael Braungart), it has a super tight turning circle, and a carbon chassis.

However for long distance electric driving, no one can do it better than Tesla. We have driven thousands of km all over Europe and never had a problem with the range and charging the car. A real ship for sailing into the future.
